Aluminum truss is the right tool for a stadium. It’s often the wrong tool for a boutique retail install, an event-photography rig, or a table-scale product-shoot mount. The Truss project is a growing design system for the middle ground — small-format rigging that borrows the visual language of real truss but scales to the actual load and geometry the job needs.
The steel-rod-in-print approach
Purely printed truss isn’t structural under any meaningful load. But when steel rods are embedded during the print — a pause, a rod, a resume — the resulting composite gives you the print’s dimensional accuracy and finish with the steel’s tensile and shear capacity. The rod handles the load; the print handles everything else.
The design system
Corner blocks are the core: modular junctions that accept truss lengths from multiple directions and lock together for a wide range of rigging configurations. Around them, a growing library of accessories — mounting adapters, rolling carriages, cable-management inserts — makes the truss reconfigurable across jobs.
